API Licensing

There are three categories of licensing: Basic, Standard and Extended.  Here is a visual of how they relate with each other:

Basic: These are lightweight API endpoints that serve basic retrieve and save operations.

Standard: These are more advanced API endpoints that serve more specific needs in calls from apps and automations.  All Basic licensed endpoints are included in the Standard license.

Extended: These are à la Carte licenses, each with their own sets of endpoints per license.

Your API Help page will show which license an endpoint is assigned to.
