If you have problems with any web-based software, you may need to clear your browser's cache during troubleshooting. This process is built into Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, and Apple Safari. This purges your machine of cookies, temporary internet files, and browser history.
For Chrome or Edge:
- While in Chrome or Edge, press Ctrl+Shift+Del on your keyboard. The Clear browsing data screen opens.
- Select the time period to delete the cache data from the Time range drop-down. You usually want to select All time.
- Check the Cached images and files check box.
- Click the Clear Data button.
- Reload your Momentus site.
For Apple Safari:
The quickest way to clear your cache is by using a keyboard shortcut: [OPTION] + [COMMAND] + [E]
Alternatively, you can follow these steps to clear your Safari cache:
- While in the Safari browser, click the Safari drop-down menu and select Preferences, or use the keyboard shortcut [CMD] + [,]
- A pop-up window will open. Select the Advanced tab.
- Click the checkbox at the bottom of this tab that reads Show Develop menu in menu bar. A new item will not appear in the menu bar, called Develop.
- Click on Develop, then select Empty Caches.
- Reload the browser.
