Use Payments Settings to configure which payments will be supported and how payments are processed.
These settings can be accessed from the Merchant Portal by selecting “Settings” from the menu and then select the Payments tab.

Passthrough Fees
Momentus Payments provides several options to support organizations that wish to pass through merchant or processing fees to payers. Fees passed through to a payer will be represented in the Receivable Ledger for the customer.
Toggle the passthrough fees on or off for each card type and option.
Note: Each card network has rules for the types of businesses that can pass through merchant or processing fees as well as the policies for doing so. Check with your organization's legal counsel to determine the right approach for your business.
Maximum Credit Card Transaction Amount
Set the top limit for credit card payment amounts.
Statement Descriptor
Enter the Statement Descriptor that should appear on your customer's billing statement. A clear and accurate statement descriptor can reduce disputes and other customer inquiries.
Your customer’s bank retains control over what is displayed on their billing statements. Most banks display the requested statement descriptor consistently, but some banks may display it incorrectly or not at all.
Payment Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy
Upload a PDF of your payment terms & conditions and privacy policy. The PDF for each document will be accessible from any page where your customers submits a payment.
