After Momentus Payments has been enabled, gather the required information as described below and activate your payments account in Enterprise.
- From the Main Menu, click the Momentus Payments link
- In the Momentus Payments | Payment Gateway screen, click Activate Momentus Payments to start the process.
Required Information
When activating Momentus Payments, information about their organization as well as personal information of certain individuals connected to the organization will be required. These requirements are set by regulatory bodies around the world. Their purpose is to confirm the identity of anyone accepting electronic payments and prevent abuse of the financial system.
Specifically, customers that use Momentus Payments will need to provide information regarding:
- The individual creating the Momentus Payment Account
- The organization associated with the Momentus Payment Account
- Any individuals that ultimately own more than 25% of the organization
- The bank account that will receive payouts from Momentus Payments
In many cases, the information provided can be automatically verified. In some situations, you may be asked to provide a document such as a driver's license to confirm the details.
Additional Momentus Payment Accounts
Momentus Payments can support multiple Accounts. To add a separate Account, click Add and start the activation process for the new Account.
