At Momentus Technologies, we are dedicated to continually enhancing your experience with our Momentus Enterprise application. To ensure optimal performance, our Cloud team will be implementing improvements to the standard maintenance plans for your databases.
Starting December 2023, these enhancements will be deployed across the Cloud environment and will continue indefinitely. Rest assured, the enhanced maintenance plans will be executed during the standard maintenance window, with no anticipated additional downtime or negative performance impact.
Enhancements Overview
- Purge Legacy API Logon Audit Log Entries Older than 90 Days
- A weekly scheduled deletion of unnecessary audit log entries. This deletion will only affect legacy API login records older than 90 days and will be run during the maintenance window for each region. This is part of a proactive maintenance plan to ensure the software is running at its optimal performance. This was initiated in March 2023.
- Archive Audit Log Entries Older than 12 Months
- Audit log entries older than 12 months will be moved into a secondary database table, reducing the load on the database itself when searching the audit log. Archived audit log entries will still be available through backoffice - simply click the "Include Archive" checkbox in Advanced Search when searching.
- Proactive Database Index Generation
- Our Site Reliability Engineers will identify and apply custom indexes tailored to your organization's needs. This proactive approach will significantly enhance data retrieval, query performance, and user concurrency.
- Disablement of Unused Indexes
- Periodic disablement of unused indexes is crucial for optimizing query performance, reducing storage overhead, and preventing fragmentation.
We understand the importance of your business operations, and we assure you that these enhancements are designed to improve the overall efficiency of our services. If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to reach out to our support team.
