Address labels are used for accounts and contacts to create mailing labels (see Print Address Labels). Address labels are set up by country and configured from the Countries page.
To set up an address label for a country:
- Click the Countries link from the Main Menu. The Countries page opens.
- Select the country for the address label.
- Right-click and select Edit. The Edit Country window opens.
- Select the Address Label tab.
- Click to activate the Address Label field for the desired address line. A drop-down with available wildcards displays.
- Select the wildcard to use. You can type in multiple wildcards to use more than one. Check the Leave Blank check box to leave the line blank between address lines.
- Repeat steps 5 and 6 for each address line.
- Click OK.
Once your address labels are set up, they are automatically created when a new account or contact is created.
If you already have accounts and contacts and then create the address label, or if you make a change to the address label for a country, then you need to run the Synchronize Address Labels process to update the address labels across the system.
- Click the Countries link from the Main Menu. The Countries page opens.
- Select the country that needs the address labels synced.
- Right-click and select Synchronize Address Labels. The Synchronize Address Labels window opens with the number of accounts to update.
- Click OK. A confirmation message displays when the synchronization process is complete.
You can also synchronize an address label for a single account or contact.
- Click the Accounts or Contacts link for the appropriate designation from the Main Menu. The Accounts or Contacts page opens.
- Select the account or contact that needs the address label synchronized.
- Right-click and select Edit. The Edit Account or Edit Contact window opens.
- Select the Details tab.
- Click the Entries hyperlink next to the Addresses label. The Alternate Addresses window opens.
- Click the Synchronize button. The Synchronization process runs.

Hey Sam,
if we want an adress label to be synchronized we need to enter the account and then iva the hyperlink to the communication fields. Then we hit synchronize (if there was a change in the adress on the account before).
But for example if we have had an import. This synchronization of updated accounts is not working automatically, so we now are facing manual steps which we would liek to avoid.
So a Mass Synchonization would be very helpful.
