Disable PayPal Authorization Transactions

By default, PayPal performs a $1 transaction to authorize the full payment. You can disable this authorization transaction using Organization Parameter AR 197. 

1. Click the Organization Parameters link from the Main Menu. The Organization Parameters screen opens.
2. Select organization parameter AR (Application) 197 (Code).
3. Right-click and select Edit. The Edit Organization Parameter screen opens.
4. Enter Y into the Value field. By entering Y, no authorization transactions are used and transactions are processed for the full amount.
5. Click OK.
6. Log out of the database.
7. Restart IIS.
