Update Values for Auto Assigned Codes

You can adjust the values for auto assigned codes within the software, such as invoice numbers and event IDs. You can also view the last number used and which user used the last value and when he/she used it.

Only administrators under close guidance of Momentus Support Services, Professional Services, or Value Success should modify these values. Typically you should only modify these values before any data is added to the database and/or organization. Modifying values after entering data into Momentus Enterprise may cause major problems such as primary key limitations and duplicated data.

If it is determined to update these values while working with Support Services, Professional Services, or Value Success, follow the below steps:

  1. Click the Table Sequence Control link from the Main Menu. The Table Sequence Control screen opens.
  2. Locate the value to update. You can use the Organization and Table filters to more easily find the needed value. 
  3. Right-click and select Edit. The Edit Table Sequence Control screen opens.
  4. Enter the new value into the Last Number Used field.
  5. Click OK.

    Which table would I find an account code (Personnel or Supplier) and the last value assigned within the sequence control table?

    Hi Kris,

    In the Table Sequence Control screen, you'll find it on the EV890 table. You can see the last value assigned in the Last Number Used field.
