There are several ways to access the iEBMS Presentation feature, and while each iEBMS Presentation Window looks similar and has similar functionality, they vary in the amount of information that they display.
- Main Menu > iEBMS > Presentation
This Presentation Window contains the most information, showing you the entire iEBMS Presentation hierarchy of your iEBMS modules, configurations, and pages. - Main Menu > iEBMS > Module Window > Options Menu > Presentation
A Module Window is the window that displays the list of iEBMS Calendar of Event (COE) configurations, or the list of iEBMS Service Order Processing (SOP) configurations, etc.
The Presentation icon appears as a black arrow within a box.
This Presentation Window shows an abridged version of the iEBMS Presentation hierarchy, showing only the items that will directly affect the given iEBMS module that you have open. It also shows all of the iEBMS module configurations for which iEBMS Presentation has already been applied for the given module. - Main Menu > iEBMS > Module Window > Module Configuration > Options Menu > Presentation, or
Main Menu > Event Management & Coordination > Event Master > Configure Event Website > Options Menu > Presentation
The Presentation icon appears as a purple arrow within a box.
This Presentation Window is similar to the window above, but this time it only shows the iEBMS Presentation for the given iEBMS module configuration that you have open. All other branches of the hierarchy have been hidden from view. - Main Menu > Event Management & Coordination > Event Master > Registration > Registration Configuration > Web Configuration > Options Menu > Presentation, or
Main Menu > Event Management & Coordination > Event Master > Open OEP Configuration > Online Exhibitor Profile Configuration > Options Menu > Presentation
Some iEBMS modules also have configurations that have extra levels within the hierarchy such as the Registration Type or the Event.
This Presentation icon appears as a red arrow within a box.
Once again, this Presentation Window is similar to the windows above, where it only shows the portion of the iEBMS Presentation hierarchy relevant to the given configuration. All other branches of the hierarchy have been hidden from view.
Knowing which window to use in which circumstance can greatly help improve your workflow. As an example, if you are styling one particular iEBMS module configuration, then using one of the Presentation Windows that show an abridged version of the iEBMS Presentation hierarchy can help you avoid the clutter of the full hierarchy. On the other hand, if you are trying to style all of your iEBMS pages at the same time, then the first Presentation Window mentioned above which shows the full iEBMS Presentation hierarchy can be more useful so that you don't have to keep switching between different windows to get the job done.
