If you are experiencing issues with your iEBMS web pages, it can sometimes be beneficial to review the contents of your iEBMS Log file, or you may be asked to provide this information to Momentus Support Services when they are helping you to troubleshoot iEBMS issues.
There are two ways to view the contents of your iEBMS Log file.
The first method requires that you have access to the web server where your iEBMS is installed.
- Go to your iEBMS installation folder (the default location is C:\inetpub\iEBMS).
- Open the file 'IEBMSWebLog.log'
If you are prompted to choose the program that you want to use to open this file, select Notepad or another text editor.
The second method can be performed from most iEBMS web pages.
- Within your web browser, go to an iEBMS web page.
- Within the browsers address bar, add "&info=w" (without the quotes) to the end of the web address, and press Enter.
The page should reload. - Scroll down to the bottom of the page.
You should see some extra information at the bottom of the page, including the contents of your iEBMS Log file.
Please note that your iEBMS Log file can become quite large, especially if it hasn't been cleared out periodically. It may take an extended amount of time to load within your text editor, or it may make your iEBMS web pages slow to load when using this option. While all log entries have a date/time stamp, the most recent entries will appear at the bottom of the iEBMS Log file or iEBMS web page.
