Often this is required when integrating iEBMS pages within other web pages in an IFrame. As the iEBMS page does not often contain any navigation options on error pages, if there is an error and the page is within an IFrame, attempting to use the Browser's Back button may not result in the desired effect, depending on the browser being used.
The simplest and very optimal solution to this is to edit the dictionary phrase of the error message that appear within the relevant iEBMS applications, and place some markup within the phrase to show a button to allow the user to navigate to the previous page they were on. Note, this may be used at least as a starting point, in the following example, this is adding a Back button below the error message displayed in iEBMS SOP when selecting an event that the user cannot place an order on.
Change the dictionary phrase "Service order processing for the selected event is no longer enabled." to the following:
Service order processing for the selected event is not currently enabled.<BR><BR><FORM><INPUT Type="button" VALUE="Back" onClick="parent.location=document.referrer"></FORM>
