After creating an iEBMS configuration, the configuration will now have a Web Link available. Clicking on the Web Link will open the respective iEBMS Web Page in your default web browser.
Depending on the module and your particular configuration, you may notice that the web page that loads in your web browser has a different address than the link that you clicked on within the software. In addition, you may notice that the address in your web browser may also contain a 'sessionid' value.
If your iEBMS web page address does include a 'sessionid', you do not want to share this with any other user as this is your unique session, and sharing the link may expose your personal data (there are settings in the iEBMS WebCongifuration.exe to help avoid this situation). The 'session' will also timeout after a period of inactivity, and anyone trying to use that link will then receive an error message.
If you want to share a link to the iEBMS page, it is recommended that you use the link that is displayed within the iEBMS configuration screen. To do this, you have two options:
- You can manually copy the Web Link and typing it into another application, or
- You can click the little icon/button to the right of the Web Link that looks like two little sheets of paper. This will copy the Web Link to your computers clipboard, and you can now paste the link into another application to share with others.
As a reminder, never share a web link that includes a 'sessionid' value.
