Link a SOP Configuration to a COE Configuration

  1. In USI, go to iEBMS > Calendar of Events (COE).  Double click.
  2. In the Calendar of Events screen, Right Click > Add
  3. You will be presented with a blank configuration.  At the very least, you will need a code and a Description for your Calendar of Events.  You can also choose other configuration options. (We recommend that you do not choose a Logon for your Calendar of Events.  It’s a bit redundant as your Service Order Processing logon will populate after you choose the event from the Calendar).

  4. In order to link your SOP configuration to your COE, check the Configure Event on Click box.

  5. Click the Select Event on Click Options Link.

  6. Highlight Link to Other Application, and click the single V.  This will move the selected text into the the Selected field. Click OK.

  7. Double click on the words Link to Other Application that have appeared in the Configure Event on Click box.  From there, you can choose the Service Order Processing radio button, and in the dropdown, choose the configuration you would like the COE to link to.  Click OK to save.

  8. When back on the Add Calendar of Events Configuration screen, click Apply or OK to save when you are satisfied with your options.  Now, when you go to your SOP configuration, you will see a link where you can preview your COE and SOP.

    Is it possible to have this article updated as it still refers to V19 configuration which is no longer available and is different to V20.

    Is there a way of linking a COE to multiple SOPs?
