You can update the logo and/or banners that display on standard reports. You must use bitmap (bmp) files of 256 color depth (8-bit) for the logo and/or banner images. To change the report logo and/or banner(s):
- Click the Organizations link from the Main Menu. The Organizations page opens.
- Select the organization that needs the updated logo and/or banner.
- Right-click and select Edit. The Edit Organization screen opens.
- Select the Images tab.
- Click the Select Image hyperlink for the graphic to update. If an image is already selected, click on the image to change it. The Select Image window opens. See below for details for each available image. You may need to add the below fields to your screen layout if they are not available.
- Logo - Displays on standard reports. Recommended dimensions are 108 x 72 pixels.
- Portrait Header Banner - Graphic that displays across the top of some standard portrait reports, such as invoices. Portrait Header Banner dimensions are 121 x 707 pixels. If the Portrait Header Banner is not uploaded, the Logo graphic file is used instead on most standard reports.
- Portrait Footer Banner - Graphic that displays across the bottom of some standard portrait reports, such as invoices. Portrait Footer Banner dimensions are 121 x 707 pixels.
- Landscape Header Banner - Graphic that displays across the top of some standard landscape reports.
- Landscape Footer Banner - Graphic that displays across the bottom of some standard landscape reports.
- Click the ellipses button (...). The Open window displays.
- Select the new logo or banner.
- Click the Open button. You return to the Select Image window.
- Click the Select button. The selected image displays.

Hi, is this configuration only for the Standard Reports?

Hi Mudit,
These can be used for custom reports as long as the reports are built to use them properly. I don't have the specifics on how to do that but you can reach out to Client Care to see if they can get more details on that.
Thanks,
Maggie

Thanks Maggie, I would also like to know in-here whether we can alter the image size apart from the Max Size details mentioned.

Hi Mudit,
I pulled in our reporting experts and they said:
If the image size needs to be adjusted, it would be better to open the Crystal report and replace the image with the desired image. For our customer’s whose default logos’ sizing doesn’t match up exactly, usually their Marketing team will create a new logo file with the appropriate sizing.
Hope that is helpful!
Thanks,

Hi,
The information on the knowledge base related to changing the logo states
‘The Standard option in the Graphic Options section refers to the logo on a standard report. The image dimensions should be 200x133 pixels’ however the crystal report graphics options state that the standard logo size should be 108 by 72 pixels. It is the same image so the information is confusing. Could someone clarify what size it should be, I’ve tried a few different sizes but can’t find a size that works for all the reports that this logo appears on.
Thanks,
Trish

Hi Trish,
I believe that the dimensions outlined in this article (108x72) are correct. Which reports are you having issues with?
Thanks,

Hi USI team - if we need to make a change in the logo file or the image file, is there a solution that we don't need to open each standard report manually and resize the image or similar way, otherwise, by changing anything in the standard report makes it customized.
Kind Regards,
Mudit

Hi Mudit,
I spoke with our development team and if you keep the proper size image you can update the logo from the organization master. All standard reports pull the logo from the database.
Thanks,

I'm having some issues with this still. I'm trying to update our report header logo as well. I've created an 8-bit 108x72 pixel bmp file and changed the organization images as per the knowledgebase instructions. It shows correctly in the preview, but when I run the reports, it's still showing the old image. I opened the report in Crystal to see what it's using, and it's pulling in the CCFIG_ORG_GRAPHICS.CCFIG_GRAPHIC field. Is this the correct field that I'm updating? We are cloud hosted, but I'm not sure that matters.
Thanks!

Which report are you referring to? There is a report header / footer logo that is used in few reports which is the CCFIG_ORG_GRAPHICS.CCFIG_GRAPHIC (so not this article) and then there is the logo at the left top corner of all the reports which is CCFIL_ORG_MASTER.CCFIL_ORG_LOGO. From what I can tell, V30 does not have a way to edit CCFIG_ORG_GRAPHICS.CCFIG_GRAPHIC which may be a missed feature.

Thanks for the reply.. It’s the cbl311_performa_contract report.

So that is a custom report but I did look at the proforma's. The field you are looking to update is the Portrait Header Logo. If your custom report is based on a standard one, that is most likely the one. To find it: Main Menu -> Organizations -> Edit -> Portrait Header Logo. The dimensions from the article say it should be 121 x 707

Thanks Dustin! That was it... but to make it a bit more challenging for me, the "Portrait Header Banner" image section wasn't on my page. I had to edit the layout and drop it in there. Then I just updated it with the same logo and it worked. Thanks for your help!
Cheers!
