Momentus Enterprise users can check-in and check-out registrants directly in the software. This is typically used if there is a problem with someone checking in or a check-in needs to be overridden. This is not recommended for use as a check-in method for large groups of people.
Registration Check-In (RCI) does not need to be configured for back office registrant check-in.
Back Office Event Check-In
You can check in a single registrant or a group of registrants. To check registrants in through the Back Office Enterprise application:
- Click the Events button from the Global Navigation Bar. The Events screen opens.
- Select the event you need to check registrants into.
- Right-click and select View -> Registration -> Event Registrants. The Registrants screen opens.
- Select the registrant(s) to check in.
- Right-click and select Tools -> Registration Check In -> Check In for check-in or select Print Badge and Check-In to check the registrant(s) in and print a badge for the registrant(s).
If a registrant has been accidentally checked into an event, you can clear the check-in. You can clear the check-in for a single registrant or multiple registrants. To clear registrant check-in(s):
- Click the Events button from the Global Navigation Bar. The Events screen opens.
- Select the event you need to check registrants out of.
- Right-click and select View -> Registration -> Event Registrants. The Registrants screen opens.
- Select the registrant check-in(s) to clear.
- Right-click and select Tools -> Registration Check In -> Clear Check In. The selected registrants have the check-in information removed.
Back Office Function Check-In and Check-Out
To check a registrant into a function through the Back Office Enterprise application:
- Click the Events button from the Global Navigation Bar. The Events screen opens.
- Select the event you need to check registrants into.
- Right-click and select View -> Registration -> Event Registrants. The Registrants screen opens.
- Select the registrant(s) to check in.
- Right-click and select Tools -> Function Check In -> Function Check In. The Add Registrant Function Check-In screen opens.
- Enter the following information:
- Function - Select the function to check the registrant into.
- Check In - Enter the date and time of the check in or check the Use Current Time check box to use the current date and time.
- Check-In Note - Enter any check-in details.
- Click OK.
To check a registrant out of a function through the Back Office Enterprise application:
- Click the Events button from the Global Navigation Bar. The Events screen opens.
- Select the event you need to check registrants into.
- Right-click and select View -> Registration -> Event Registrants. The Registrants screen opens.
- Select the registrant(s) to check in.
- Right-click and select Tools -> Function Check In -> Function Check Out. The Edit Registrant Function Check-In screen opens.
- Enter the following information:
- Function - Select the function to check the registrant out of.
- Check In - Enter the date and time of the check out or check the Use Current Time check box to use the current date and time.
- Check-In Note - Enter any check-out details.
- Click OK.
