Price Lists are able to be adapted to have tax inclusive or tax exclusive items. This allows you to have different price lists based on your organization's requirements. For instance, if you have a business-to-consumer price list where the amounts need to be listed including all tax, this price list would be tax inclusive. This article describes the differences between using tax inclusive and exclusive price list items.
Tax inclusive/exclusive can be set on the price list, or at the price list item level. Price lists will always default to being Exclusive when first created. If you are using an exclusive price list and need to have items which are tax inclusive, you can do this at the item level.
