Edit Multiple Events

    Hello,
I have followed these directions, however, I am having an issue when trying to edit the entire space booked for an event (not an option in the edit multiple window). For example, we have an event which has switched locations and instead of changing each individual space, as was done by my employee, is their a way to edit all the spaces at the same time? Or, is there another way to do so? Thanks!

    Hi Joe,

The Edit Multiple screen for Events won't allow you to change the booked spaces within an event. To change the booked spaces on an event, you have to go to the Edit Event screen, select the Bookings tab and make those changes there. If you want to only update the information for a space such as date, time, status, etc., you can select multiple bookings and use the Edit Multiple screen from there. However, this will only allow you to edit the booking details and will not change the actual space being booked.

    Thanks,
    Maggie

    Hi Maggie,

Our users ran into this problem too. Does it mean there is no way to apply a space change in bulk within an event? We could do that in v19 though .... Not v20.

    Hi Levin,

There is an Edit Multiple Bookings option available on the Bookings tab to update information for multiple bookings on an event.  Start Date/Time, End Date/Time, Usage, Rate Type, etc. can be edited for multiple bookings on a single event using this screen.

    Thanks,
    Maggie

    Hi Maggie,

Thank you for your reply. Be specific, it is the Space (Room) that need to be changed on multiple rows. This can be done in v19. But so far I couldn't find a way in v20. Is there a way somehow to get it done in v20? Because Space is not an option in Edit Multiple Bookings screen.

    Hi Levin,

I think you are referring to the ability to copy and paste the cells to change them en masse?  Unfortunately, this isn't available in v20 due to technical limitations.  We know this is a well-loved feature and is included in our future plans which will be shared in more detail at our Global Conference in a few weeks!

    Thanks,

    Maggie
