A Report Group allows users to create a single report item that includes multiple reports in it. This is helpful when you need to generate several reports at the same time, avoiding the need to generate and open these reports one by one.
To use report groups, you first need to create the report group and then assign the report group to the appropriate report list.
Create the Report Group
To create a report group, follow the below steps:
- Click the Report Groups link from the Main Menu. The Report Groups page opens.
- Click the Add button. The Add Report Group window opens.
- Enter the name of the report group in the Name field. This name displays in the report list when generating the reports.
- Click Manage in the Group Reports tab. A window opens with all available reports.
- Move the reports to include in the report group from the Available panel to the Selected panel. You can use the green plus sign next to the report to move a single report or you can select multiple reports and use the right arrow button.
- Click OK.
Assign the Report Group to a Report List
To assign the report group to a report list, follow the below steps:
- Click the Report Lists link from the Main Menu. The Report List Master page opens.
- Select the report list which needs the report group added.
- In the Reports tab on the right side of the screen, click Manage Reports. The Manage Reports window opens. This screen displays available reports and report groups.
- Move the report group(s) to include in the report list from the Available panel to the Selected panel. You can use the green plus sign to move a single report group or you can select multiple report groups and use the right arrow button.
- Click OK.
To learn more about how to select the correct report list, see the Adding a Report to a Report List article.
Notes:
- Deleting a report group does not delete the reports within the report group.
- A report can be associated with multiple report groups.

Hello - I was hoping to create a Custom Report Link that triggers a Report Group, but don't see a way to do so in the "Add Custom Reports or Link" options.
Is it truly not possible?!
Zak.
