Email signatures can be configured on your user settings, so each time you send an email from Momentus Enterprise, your signature is attached.
- On the Global Navigation bar, click your user name.
- Select User Settings. The Edit User page opens.
- Click Tools.
- Select Edit Signature. The Edit Email Signature window opens.
- Enter the details for the email signature to use. To add an image:
- Click Insert Momentus Image. The Insert Momentus Image window opens.
- Select the image to add to the email signature (Images for Momentus image are stored on the Account Template Documents).
- Click OK. You return to the Edit Email Signature window.
- Click OK.
If you do not have access to your User Settings, you can also edit your signature from the Email screen (clicking on any email hyperlink). On the Email window, click Tools -> Email Signature and add or edit your email signature from there.

Is there functionality for the system administrator to set a default signature (perhaps with wildcards a-la email templates) and apply it to roles/users globally?

Andrew, you could accomplish this by creating the signature line you want, and then embedding it inside the actual email template.
Hope that helps!

Hi Carrie.
I had already considered and ruled that out as the level of detail in our email signature is quite specific (i.e. direct phone number, email address, job title etc.)
In essence, the person sending the mail will need to re-do most of what's in the signature each and every time, which will become cumbersome.
Thanks for the response :)
Andrew.

Can an email signature be removed for a single email without it being completely deleted for all emails?

Hi R.C.!
The email signature shows up in the body of the text when you are composing the email. You should be able to just delete the signature for that email and it won't affect the other emails.
Thanks,
Carrie

Hi Kris,
In version 20, to add a logo to a signature you can take the following steps:
1. From the Global Navigation Bar, click your user name and select User Settings
2. On the User Settings window, click the Tools button
3. Select Edit Signature
4. On the Edit Email Signature window, click Use Rich Text Editor
5. Click the Insert Image Icon
6. On the Insert Image window, you can inset an image two ways on this screen:
You can (1) enter a URL into the Link URL field on the bottom left or (2) click on the "..." to insert an image from your desktop > Choose the Image > Open > Image name will populate in and you then click Upload to upload the image to Ungerboeck > the image should be uploaded, click Select
7. On the Edit Email Signature window, the image you just added will be in your signature
8. Click Ok on the Edit Email Signature window to save and then again, click Ok to save on your User Settings window. The image will now be in your signature when sending an email from Ungerboeck.
Have a great day!

Does a copy of this image go out with the e-mail? Or does the recipient need ot have access to the v20 web server to serve up this image?

I don't have the "..." to insert an image.

Hello All,
They should not need access to v20 to get the image. Also, in order to add an image, you need access to the file server.
Hope this helps!

I don't have the "..." either.

Hi R.C.,
My apologies! Step 5 should say click on "Insert Ungerboeck Image", which will open the Insert Image window. On the Insert Image window, you will be able to see the "..." as the image below.

Hi, I'm trying to work out how to add an image to an Email Signature in V30. When I click the Insert Picture button it comes up with the following screen asking me for a URL:
Any help would be appreciated.

Hi Eloise,
On the Image Properties window that comes up you just need to copy the image URL you are wanting to use into the URL field and this will show in your email body.
Please let me know if you have any further questions.
Thanks,

Hi Ryan,
We've only got the image file path which doesn't seem to work in place of a URL. Is it only possible if the image is hosted online?
Thanks,

Hi Eloise,
I confirmed with our Development team that right now it is only possible if the image is hosted online. However, we do have this on our backlog to be looked at for a future release.
Thanks,

Hi Ryan,
I am in v30 and I do not get that Image Properties screen. Instead this is what I get when I click on "Insert Ungerboeck Image":

Hi Michelle,
On the Edit Email Signature window you will want to click the Image button not the Insert Ungerboeck Link button to open up Image Properties.
Please let me know if you have any further questions.
Thanks,

Hi Kris,
On the image URL you can right click and select Image Properties. On the Image Properties prompt window the URL is displayed under Image Info section.
I hope this helps.

How can I view a new image I have added? I am needing to add this image into the email signature but unable to find the image URL to add into the properties.
Thanks

Kris,
To add an image you will want to go to click on the image icon on your Edit Email Signature window below. On Image Properties you can paste your URL in the URL field under Image Info tab.
Like I said before to view you just need to right click on the newly added image > select Image Properties. There you can preview the image as well.

Hi,
Is it possible to make the image added responsive? If so, how?

Hi Andreas,
What exactly do you mean by the image being responsive?

Hey,
is there any possibility to add a default signature in addition to each personal on? Asking because we have a disclaimer form the company that needs to be sent any time and if we can force that as a default, it´s easier for each individum because we cannot assure each user is taking car of the signature, when sending mails.
Thanks and Cheers

This is not possible from a configuration standpoint. If you are using an email template, you can put it in the template. If you are just sending emails with out a template, you would need to make sure your users have the proper verbiage in their signatures. The other alternative is a custom solution where you can modify all of your emails that get sent out.

Hi Dustin,
Can you provide more info on what the custom solution would look like? We are wanting a way to update everyone's email signatures at once without making them have to change an image everytime.

That would really be up to our Technical Solutions Team. If you have the api license, they could use that to update the signatures. Or if you had had your own smtp service, you could have them modified directly when they get sent out.

Sounds great, i'll have a discussion with our CSM about options.
Thanks so much for your help.
