If you are a cloud customer or an on-premise-hosted customer with a password age policy, you are required to change your Momentus password periodically. The Microsoft Add-In passwords must match the Momentus password for the Add-Ins to work properly, so be sure to update your add-ins whenever you update your Momentus password. If these passwords are not kept in sync, you won't be able to use your add-ins and you may be locked out of Momentus.
Microsoft Office Add-In
- Open Microsoft Word.
- Select the Momentus tab.
- Click Edit Settings. The ConnectionsWindow window opens.
- In the Password field, enter your new password.
- Click Test Connection.
- If the connection is successful, a success message will display. Click OK on the message.
- In the ConnectionsWindow click OK.
Microsoft Outlook Add-In
- Open Microsoft Outlook.
- Click File > Options. The Outlook Options window opens.
- Select Add-ins.
- Select Momentus Outlook Add-in.
- Click Add-in Options at the top of the window. The Add-in Options window opens.
- Click Connection. The ConnectionsWindow window opens.
- Enter your password into the Password field.
- Click Test Connection.
- If the connection is successful, a success message will display. Click OK on the message.
- In the ConnectionsWindow click OK.
