By default, the software sets all new bookings to a status of Tentative (29). You can change this default if desired. To change the default booking status:
- Click the System Parameters link from the Main Menu. The System Parameters screen opens.
- Select system parameter BK (application) 040 (code).
- Right-click and select Edit. The Edit System Parameter screen opens.
- Enter the code of the status to use as the default booking status into the Alphanumeric Value field.
- Click OK.

It would be great if the default booking status could have 2 settings. One for new bookings/events and one for adding to an existing event. When adding to an existing event, the booking status would default to the event status.
