The following default email confirmation subject for registration confirmations for all registrations is:
Thank you for registering. Your confirmation number is #[ConfirmationNumber] for [EventName].
The email subject is a dictionary phrase that supports two wild cards: Confirmation Number (Order Number) and Event Name.
To change the email confirmation subject:
- Click the Dictionaries link from the Main Menu. The Dictionaries screen opens.
- Select the custom dictionary used for your event registration. You can only change dictionary phrases in custom dictionaries.
- Right-click and select Find and Replace v30 Phrases. The Find and Replace v30 Phrases screen opens.
- Use the search filters to locate the email subject phrase. Enter "Thank you" into the Phrase to Find filter and select Messages from the Browser Phrase Types drop-down.
- Select the dictionary phrase.
- Right-click and select Edit. The Edit Browser Phrase screen opens.
- Update the email subject to your desired wording in the User Phrase field.
- Click OK.
The updated email subject is used for all event registrations that use the dictionary you updated.
