If you are having issues when doing a database upgrade, you can roll back the database by adding a line to the .ini file and running USIDATA.
If you have already started the upgrade process, the SQL database may be stamped with version eg19.60 though the full upgrade process did not complete properly.
Because of this, you will want to re-run the entire upgrade process using the 1960EPXX but as if youPAtch, Hotf hadn’t touched the DB at all and were back to the start. To do this, add the following line to the INI file under [USIEditSecurity]:
Data32Test=USI
Afterwards, re-run USIData.exe and you will see two new fields at the bottom of the window. One of them is “Set Back To:” For this, you will enter: eg19.40
With this in place, the upgrade process will stamp the database as 19.40 before running, and will include all necessary steps to upgrade from 19.40 to 19.60. This, combined with your valid patch level of Ep18, should eliminate your issues with the upgrade.
