Receive A Number, Currency Amount, Boolean, Date, Time, Date-Time or String is Expected Here Message on Report Server

When running a report, if you receive "A number, currency amount, Boolean, date, time, date-time, or string is expected here" message, follow the below steps to resolve it:

1.  Install the latest Reporting Server.

2.  Open the CMD.exe.  To do this, press the Windows key + R on your keyboard and then type in cmd.exe in the Run prompt.

3.  Search the path of the CRUFLUS2.dll of the Reporting Server installation in the bin folder.

4.  Type in "regsvr32.exe - u regsvr32-u <path>\CRUFLUS2.dll".

5.  Restart the web server.

6.  Open the CMD.exe.

7.  Search the path of the CRUFLUS2.dll of the Reporting Server installation in the bin folder again.

8.  Type in "regsvr32.exe regsvr32-u <path>\CRUFLUES2.dll".
