Sustainability, in a nutshell, is the practice of meeting the needs of the present without compromising the the needs of the future. This includes balancing environmental, economic, and societal needs by using sustainable practices to ensure ongoing success for all. For your venue to have long term viability, it's important that it operates in a sustainable way.
WeTrack's Sustainability Tracking module enables you to create, track and report on key indicators in sustainability. These indicators could be across the environment, social impact, organizational governance, legacy, carbon emissions and more.
Sustainability is tracked via indicators. Indicators are items you want to improve upon, such as energy use, amount of waste, community program growth, public transit use by attendees, improved labor practices, and more. Users create indicators, set targets to be achieved at certain points in the future, and then make updates accordingly. Overall progress can be viewed in different ways, including lists, dashboards and reports. When a target is hit, you gain an achievement.
