The quickest way to add Jobs/Tasks is using the quick add fields at the top of the Jobs List.
How to use the quick add functionality

Click 'Add Job'

Select a category this applies to - EG: Bathroom Maintenance

The title will auto populate to include the Job category and date, you can change or edit this by clicking on the title field

By default, the Job will be automatically assigned to the user creating it and their department/FA - both of these can be removed by unticking the options

Select Enter on your keyboard (on mobile a SAVE button will appear)
The Job will be created as with a due date of today, once created the user can click into the details and amend accordingly
