After a custom service order item has been entered and saved for an event or function, it can be viewed on Events or Functions screen as well as viewed and edited on the Edit Event or Edit Function screen.
The custom service order item will be editable on the Edit Event or Edit Function screen if:
- An existing non-booking and active service order contains the item.
- It is in the order item phase and the item status is Hold or Active.
- The order account is the same as the event account.
- The order contact is the same as the event contact.
- The order bill-to account is the same as the event bill-to account.
The custom service order item will display an actual quantity but will not be editable if:
- An existing non-booking service order contains the item.
- The service order has been closed or invoiced.
- The item's work order has been completed.
- The service order item has been completed.
The custom service order item will display without a quantity and will not be editable if:
- An existing non-booking service order contains the item.
- The service order has been cancelled.
- The service order item has been cancelled or has been cancelled with fees.
