Cancel a Service Order

When you cancel an order, all the items on the order and all the work orders for the order are also cancelled. To cancel an order:

  1. Click on the Events link from the Main Menu. The Events page opens.
  2. Select the event with the service order(s) to cancel.
  3. Right-click and select Edit -> Edit. The Edit Event window opens.
  4. Select the Service Orders tab.
  5. Select the service order(s) to cancel. Use Ctrl+Click or Shift+Click to select multiple orders.
  6. Right-click and select Tools -> Cancel. The Cancel Order(s) window opens.
  7. Select the cancellation status for the order(s).
  8. Click Continue.

    Does canceling a service order automatically void/cancel any related invoices?

    No, Cancelling orders does not auto-void anything. the only way to cancel an order after its invoiced is to void the invoice > reopen the order > delete the actuals > cancel the orders.
