It is often easier to import data in bulk into WeTrack rather than creating projects, tasks and any other items manually within the system. Admin users can import data by clicking on their avatar in the bottom left-hand corner of any WeTrack page, and navigating to Settings > Imports & Exports > Import Manager.
Here, you select your Import Type, for example Tasks. You can either download an import template to list your tasks in Excel, or upload a completed import template. There are full instructions here for which information you can or must list in the sheet.
Once you have completed an import template, return to this page to upload the file. The system will then validate the data and inform you if there are any errors. Once your file is ready to be imported, you will be informed how many items will be added by the import, and asked to click 'Start Import' to proceed.
Your import has been sent for processing. The new data will appear in the system within 15 minutes and you will receive an email confirmation once it is there.
