You can configure the space tool tip and the booking tool tip on the Booking Calendar and the function tool tip and space tool tip on the Function Calendar.
Space Tool Tip
The space tool tip displays information about the space in a pop-up screen directly on the calendar. This allows you to view a space's information without having to open an additional screen. The tool tip appears when hovering over the name of the space on the Booking Calendar or Function Calendar.
Display the Space Tool Tip
- Click the Calendar or Function Calendar link from the Main Menu. The Booking Calendar or Function Calendar screen opens.
- Select the Settings tab.
- Select Configuration. The Calendar Configuration screen opens.
- In the Show Tool Tips drop-down, select your desired option:
- Show All Tool Tips - Shows all tool tips on the calendar.
- Only Booking Tool Tips - Shows only the tool tips for the bookings on the calendar. Only available for the Booking Calendar.
- Only Function Tool Tips - Shows only the tool tips for the functions on the calendar. Only available for the Function Calendar.
- Only Space Tool Tips - Shows only the tool tips for the spaces on the calendar.
- Do Not Show Tool Tips - No tool tips are available on the calendar.
- Click OK.
Configure the Information on the Space Tool Tip
After you configure the space tool tip to display, you can configure the information that shows on the tool tip.
- Hover over space on the calendar. The space tool tip displays.
- Click the Edit Layout link in the lower right corner of the tool tip. The Edit Layout screen opens.
- Drag and drop fields from the Available Fields list on the left to the Layout Sections on the right. You can also remove fields by dragging and dropping a field from the Layout Sections on the right to the Available Field list on the left.
- Once you configure your desired field layout, click OK. The tool tip is updated to use the new layout.
Booking Tool Tip
The booking tool tip displays information about the booking, event, or event account in a pop-up screen directly on the Booking Calendar. This allows you to view additional information without having to open an additional screen. Some fields, such as "Event", "Salesperson", "Account" and others may act as hyperlinks and allow you to access and update their related information or even launch an Email, etc. The tool tip appears when hovering over an existing booking on the calendar.
Display the Booking Tool Tip
- Click the Calendar link from the Main Menu. The Booking Calendar screen opens.
- Select the Settings tab.
- Select Configuration. The Calendar Configuration screen opens.
- In the Show Tool Tips drop-down, select your desired option:
- Show All Tool Tips - Shows both booking and space tool tips on the calendar.
- Only Booking Tool Tips - Shows only the tool tips for the bookings on the calendar.
- Only Space Tool Tips - Shows only the tool tips for the spaces on the calendar.
- Do Not Show Tool Tips - No tool tips are available on the calendar.
- Click OK.

Hi, Is it possible to increase the time that the tooltip is displayed?

The tool tip window displays as long as the cursor stays within the tool tip window or the space description area. As soon as the cursor is moved out of this area the tool tip window disappears.

Hi Dan,
Thank you for the quick respond. It seems that the time constraint is only applicable to V19 Booking Calendar where it will only appear for 5 seconds. V20 remains visible as long as the cursor is stays within. Is it possible to configure the timing for V19?

You're welcome. The v19 tool tip time is hard coded and cannot be modified.
