Issue a Work Order vs. Print a Work Order

Printing a work order and issuing a work order are very similar processes; both result in printing the work order. However, when you select the Issue Work Orders action, the Printed Date, Printed Time and Printed By Code columns are filled in for the work order providing you a record of when the work order was printed or sent.

To issue a work order(s):

1. Click the Work Orders link from the Main Menu. The Work Orders page opens.
2. Select the work orders to issue. Use Ctrl+Click or Shift+Click to select multiple work orders.
3. Right-click and select Tools -> Issue Work Orders. The Issue Work Order Reports window opens.
4. Select the work order report to print/send.
5. Click Select. The Report Prompt window opens.
6. Proceed with printing or emailing your report. 

To print work order reports:

1. Click the Work Orders link from the Main Menu. The Work Orders page opens.
2. Select the work orders to print. Use Ctrl+Click or Shift+Click to select multiple work orders.
3. Right-click and select Reports. The Work Order Reports window opens.
4. Select the work order report to print/send.
5. Click Select. The Report Prompt window opens.
6. Proceed with printing or emailing your report.
