An event sales account must be created for each hotel or lodging provider that offers housing for your events. These are called Property Accounts. For more information about Housing, see Housing Overview.

Add A Property Account
- Navigate to the Properties page and click Add. The Add Account window opens.
- Enter the information for the property.
- Click OK.
Add a Property Image
You can add an image to each property that displays in online registration. To add a property image:
- Navigate to the Properties page and select the property for the image.
- Right-click and select Edit. The Edit Account window opens.
- Select the Details tab.
- In the Logo Image field, click Select Account Logo. The Select Image window opens.
- Click the ellipses (...) button. The Open window displays.
- Select the image for the property.
- Click Open. You return to the Select Image window.
- Click Select. You return to the Edit Account window.
- Click OK.
Add a Property Note
You can add a note to your property account with a detailed description of the property, its features or amenities and images of the property or room type. You can then display this note during the public-facing registration process when registrants are selecting their preferred housing. You need to create this note using the special note class you created during the Housing prerequisite setup detailed in the Housing Overview.
- Navigate to the Properties page and select the property for the note.
- Right-click and select Add > Add Note. The Add Note window opens.
- In the Class field, select the property note class from the drop-down.
- Enter the note title and text as needed. See Notes for details on each available field.
- Click OK.
Assign Attributes and Room Types
After you create the property account, you can assign attributes and room types.
- Navigate to the Properties page and select the property for the attributes.
- Right-click and select Tools > Attributes. The Property Attributes window opens.
- Enter the necessary information:
- Property: If checked, the account is designated as a property account. Do not uncheck unless the account is no longer used as a hotel or lodging provider.
- Property Contact Account: Primary contact for the property.
- Method of Notification: Preferred communication method for hotel notices.
- Pay Location: Location where payment is processed:
- At Property: Payment is made with the property.
- At Organization Deposit Only: Deposit only payment is made with the event organizer.
- At Organization: Payment is made with the event organizer.
- Property Rating: Rating for the property.
- Check-In Time: Check-in time for the property.
- Check-Out Time: Check-out time for the property.
- Effective Inventory: Total number of rooms available at the property.
- Expand the Property Room Types section and click Add. The Add Property Room Type window opens.
- Enter the necessary information:
- Room Type: Available room type for the property.
- Alternate Inventory Room Type: Alternate room type for the property. Only alternate room types configured for the room type are available for selection.
- Effective Inventory: Number of rooms for the room type available at the property.
- Room Capacity: Number of occupants allowed within the room.
- Sync Inventory: If checked, the inventory for the alternate room type is kept in sync with the inventory for the room type. Only available if an alternative room type is selected.
- Click OK.
- Repeat this step for each room type available at the property.
