Limit Amounts with the Quantity Control Type for Registration Functions

You can create a registration function where the registrant enters the quantity of people that are attending that function. In addition, you can also configure a maximum quantity a registrant can enter. 

To configure this for the functions with the same price, capacity, and maximum quantity for all registrant types:

1. Click the Events link from the Main Menu. The Events screen opens.
2. Select the event for the registration function configuration.
3. Right-click and select Tools -> Registration Setup. The Edit Registration Setup screen opens.
4. Select the Pricing tab.
5. Expand the Registration Functions section.
6. Select the function to configure.
7. Right-click and select Edit. The Edit Registration Function screen opens.
8. Expand the More Options section.
9. Select Limited from the Item Maximum Capacity drop-down.
10. Enter the maximum amount for ordering into the field next to the Item Maximum Capacity drop-down.
11. Click OK.

To configure this for functions that have different pricing, capacity and/or maximum quantity depending on the registrant type: 

1. Click the Events link from the Main Menu. The Events screen opens.
2. Select the event for the registration function configuration.
3. Right-click and select Tools -> Registration Setup. The Edit Registration Setup screen opens.
4. Select the Pricing tab.
5. Expand the Registration Functions section.
6. Select the function to configure.
7. Right-click and select Edit. The Edit Registration Function screen opens.
8. Select the Registrant Type Pricing tab. 
9. Select the registrant type to configure.
10. Right-click and select Edit. The Edit Registrant Type Dependent Pricing tab opens.
11. Select Limited from the Item Maximum Capacity drop-down.
12. Enter the maximum amount for ordering into the field next to the Item Maximum Capacity drop-down.
13. Click OK. You return to the Edit Registration Function screen.
14. Click OK. You return to the Edit Registration Setup screen.
