To copy an existing account to create a new account:
- Click the Accounts link from the Main Menu. The Accounts screen opens.
- Select the account to copy.
- Right-click and select Tools -> Copy Account. The Copy Account screen opens.
- Enter the necessary information:
- Name - Defaults to the existing account name. Update to the name of the new account if needed.
- Account Code – Leave as *AUTO to automatically assign the next incremented account code to the new account.
- Copy Account Skills – If checked, personnel skills assigned to the existing account are copied to the new account.
- Copy Account Products and Services – If checked, products and services assigned to the existing account are copied to the new account.
- Copy Account Affiliations – If checked, account affiliations assigned to the existing account are copied to the new account.
- Click OK. The Edit Account screen for the new account opens.
