If you are looking for a particular note within the system but are not sure where it is located, you can use the Find Notes page. The Find Notes page displays all the notes from within the system and using the search filters, you can locate the necessary note.
To use the Find Notes page:
- Click the Find Notes link from the Main Menu. The Find Notes page opens.
- Use the search fields to find the note you need to locate or use one of your saved views. Because of the number of notes that may be in the system, it is important to always use filters on this page.
- Click Search once you enter all your desired filters. Notes matching the search filters display on the page. Use the Source field to view where in the system the note was entered.

Is there any way to bring "Event Status" into the Find Notes screen.
I'm looking to use it as a quick reference for a "Today's Function" Note screen but it brings in every note that was created including cancelled events.
Here is a screen shot of where I was looking for the option.

Darren,
As far as I know Event Status isn't available on the Find Notes window. I'd encourage you to make this an enhancement request.
Thank you!

Where is the 'Department' field pulling from? It appears blank in all notes but I think could be useful. Also, is there a reason for the function not pulling in on some notes? In this list some are function notes and others are order or item notes but those orders and items are attached to a function. Is this a glitch maybe?

Sandra, I believe when you are adding the Note, the Department field can be included by editing the layout of the Add Note window, and once it's been added to the layout, you can choose from a drop-down menu which Department to display.
As far as why the function isn't pulling it, it might very well be a glitch, would you mind entering a ticket for that issue?
Thank you,
Carrie
