If you are looking for a particular note but are not sure where it is located, you can use the Notes page to find it. The Notes page displays all the notes in the application. Using the search filters, you have a better chance to locate the note you are searching for.
To find a specific note:
- Search for and select Find Notes to navigate to the Notes page.
- Use the search fields to reduce the number of notes listed in the results; this will help to find the exact note that you are looking for. Recommended search criteria includes:
- Text: Enter keywords or phrases which might be included in the note.
- Note Class: If known, enter the note class tagged on the note.
- Entered On: If known, enter the entered on date, or an estimated date range which includes the note's entered on date.
- Event: If known, enter the Event tagged on the note.
- Account: If known, enter the account tagged on the note.
- Entered By: If known, enter the user name of user that entered the note.
- Click Search, once you have entered all your filters. Notes matching the search filters display on the page.
- Select a note to view it in the preview on the right of the page. In the Source field there will be a link to the application record (event, order, account, and so on) where the note was entered.

Is there any way to bring "Event Status" into the Find Notes screen.
I'm looking to use it as a quick reference for a "Today's Function" Note screen but it brings in every note that was created including cancelled events.
Here is a screen shot of where I was looking for the option.

Darren,
As far as I know Event Status isn't available on the Find Notes window. I'd encourage you to make this an enhancement request.
Thank you!

Where is the 'Department' field pulling from? It appears blank in all notes but I think could be useful. Also, is there a reason for the function not pulling in on some notes? In this list some are function notes and others are order or item notes but those orders and items are attached to a function. Is this a glitch maybe?

Sandra, I believe when you are adding the Note, the Department field can be included by editing the layout of the Add Note window, and once it's been added to the layout, you can choose from a drop-down menu which Department to display.
As far as why the function isn't pulling it, it might very well be a glitch, would you mind entering a ticket for that issue?
Thank you,
Carrie
