The Checked Out Documents notification icon appears near the right side of the Global Navigation bar. The icon only appears when the user currently has documents checked out. A number appears on the icon indicating how many documents the current user has checked out. When you click on the Checked Out Documents icon a pop-up window appears and lists all of the documents currently checked out by the user. This pop-up also has a Checked Out Documents link that will open the full My Checked Out Documents window. On the Checked Out Documents pop-up window there links to perform the following options.
- Document title link – The link on the document title will open the checked out document.
- Properties – This link opens the Document Properties window.
- Check In – This link checks the document in with the changes that were made to the document after checking it out.
- Undo Check Out – This link checks the document back in, without the changes, reverting the document to the form prior to checking it out.
- All Documents: Check In – This link checks all of the document in that are currently checked out by the user, with any changes that were made to the document.
- All Documents: Undo Check Out – This link check all of the documents in that are currently checked out by the user, without the changes, reverting the documents to the form prior to checking them out.

Should the notification appear for every checked out document?
If so we have an issue on our database were this is not appearing although the document is checked out.

A notification should appear for all checked out documents, checked out by the user that is logged in. If this is not the case, it's best to submit a support ticket for review.
