You use the Account Group to configure the following for public-facing registration:
- Data entry fields for the registrant (address, phone number, etc.)
- Enable registering on behalf of others
- Enable guest registration
- Configure document upload settings
- Registrant duplicate checking settings
To configure the Account Group for a registration form template:
- Click the Events link from the Main Menu. The Events screen opens.
- Select the event for the registration setup.
- Right-click and select Tools -> Registration Setup. The Registration Setup screen opens.
- Select the Registration Form Setup tab.
- Edit Form Template hyperlink in the Appearance section. The Form Template screen opens.
- Select Account Information under the Account Group heading.
- Click the Edit Component hyperlink in the Account Details group on the right. The Edit Account Details Form Section screen opens.
- Enter the necessary information:
- Registering on Behalf of Others (Admin) Section
- Registering for others - Determines if registering for other is allows, defaulted or required.
- Not Allowed - Public-facing users cannot register for others.
- Allowed - Registering for others is available but registration defaults to registering for yourself.
- Default - Registering for others is available and registration defaults to registering for others.
- Required - Public-facing users can only register for others. They cannot register themselves.
- Registering For Others Section Heading - Text that displays as a header in the Register For Others section in public-facing registration.
- Registering For Others Section Text - Text that displays below the header in the Register For Others section in public-facing registration.
- Select Registering For Others Account Fields - Determines the fields for the person registering others to complete about himself/herself. See Configure Account Fields for more information.
- Registering For Others Documents - Determines what type of documents the person can or must upload. See Configure Document Uploads for more information.
- Registering for others - Determines if registering for other is allows, defaulted or required.
- Account Section
- Heading - Text that displays as a header on the Account page.
- Caption - Text that displays below the header on the Account page.
- Select Account Fields - Determines the fields available to complete for the registrant. See Configure Account Fields for more information.
- Account Documents - Determines what type of documents the person can or must upload. See Configure Document Uploads for more information.
- Guest Registrants Section - A guest registrant type must exist to use this feature.
- Allow Guest Registration - If checked, registrants can register guests for the event.
- Guest Section Heading - Text that displays as a header in the Guest section in public-facing registration.
- Guest Section Text - Text that displays below the header in the Guest section in public-facing registration.
- Require Guest Registration - If checked, the registrant must register a guest to proceed with registration.
- Select Guest Account Fields - Determines the fields available to complete for the guest. See Configure Account Fields for more information.
- Guest Account Documents - Determines what type of documents the person can or must upload. See Configure Document Uploads for more information.
- Duplicate Checking Section
- Check for duplicate registrant - If checked, the system checks to see if a registrant already exists on the event.
- Check for duplicate guest - If checked, the system checks to see if a guest already exists on the event.
- Allow duplicates to register for event - If checked, the registrant can still proceed with registration even if a duplicate registrant or guest is found.
- Email Address/First Name and Last Name/Company/City/State - Check the fields to use to determine if a registrant or a guest is a duplicate.
- Registering on Behalf of Others (Admin) Section
- Click OK.
Configure Account Fields
To configure account fields:
- Click the hyperlink for the account fields you want to configure. The Select Account Fields screen.
- Move the account fields you want available from the Available section to the Selected section. To move fields you can:
- Use the green plus (+) sign next to the field to move each field individually.
- Select a field and use the single right arrow button to move the selected field.
- Select multiple fields using Ctrl+Click or Shift+Click and use the single right arrow to move the selected fields.
- Use the double right arrow to move all the fields displayed in the Available section to the Selected section.
- Check the Required check box for any field in the Selected section to require the field before proceeding with registration.
- Check the Protected check box for any field in the Selected section to protect the field from editing during registration.
- Select a field and use the up and down arrows to change the order of the fields in the Selected section.
- Click OK when complete.
Configure Document Uploads
To configure document uploads:
- Click the Manage hyperlink for the document upload you want to configure. The Manage Form Document Info screen opens.
- Click the Add button. The Add Form Document Info screen opens.
- Enter the necessary information:
- Document Category - Select the document category to assign to the document when it is saved in the system.
- Document Classes - Select the document class(es) available for upload.
- Document Sensitivity - Select the document sensitivity to assign to the document when it is saved in the system.
- Label - Text the person registering sees for uploading the document.
- Tooltip - Text the person registering sees when hovering over the label.
- Required - If checked, there must be an uploaded document to proceed with registration.
- Click OK.
You can view the document uploads from the Documents tab on the event.

Bryan,
Both, the registrant and the person creating the order, will receive an email confirmation. The person creating the order will receive a summary for all registrants. Each registrant will receive their specific information.
