Approving a Bulletin:
If Bulletin Approvals are activated, bulletins will not be able to be viewed in online Bulletin Management (BUM), until the bulletin is approved. Users have to be granted the ability to approve a bulletin. There are up to 9 levels of approval available as well as the ability to limit approvals by maximum amount of the economic impact of the associated meeting.
- Navigate to Bulletin Approvals from the Main Menu.
- Click on the Approval Levels button.
- Activate the number of levels needed for your organizations. You may also change the description for each level to make the labels fit your organization’s approval levels/stages.
- In the Bulletin Approvals window, add a new User.
- Select the User, the From and To level and a Max Amount. The From level and Max Amount is optional.
- Repeat this step for any users who need to be able to approve bulletins.
To approve the Bulletin:
- Navigate to the bulletin.
- Edit it or trigger the action dropdown on the bulletin line item.
- Click the Approval button, located under Tools/Approve.
- From the Approve Bulletin Screen you can choose an approval level and add an additional approval note
- Click OK to approve the bulletin.
To undo a bulletin approval:
- Locate the approved bulletin and trigger the action drop-down on the bulletin line item or edit the bulletin.
- Remove the last approval by navigating to the removal button located under Tools/Undo Last Approval.
Note: Individual approvals cannot be removed any other way.
