- From the Global Navigation Bar, click the Contacts button.
- On the Contacts screen, right-click on the column headers and select Show Columns.
- On the Column Settings screen, select the Select Columns tab.
- On the Select Columns tab, in the Available section, select the Birth Day column.
- Use the green plus sign or single right arrow to move the column to the Selected section of the screen.
- Remaining on the Column Settings screen, click the Add field button in the upper right corner of screen.
- On the Add Custom Field, Column, or Action screen, select the Formula radio button.
- Click the Continue button.
- On the Add Formula Custom Field screen, in the Label field, enter B-Day Month.
- In the Formula section of the screen, enter an equal sign (=).
- Click the Wildcards button.
- On the Insert Field screen, select Birth Date from the Select Field drop-down.
- Click OK.
- In the Data Type drop-down, select Date Time.
- In the Format drop-down, select Month. This field will become the new column that will display the Month of the Birthday as a separate column.
