If the Create Deposit section isn’t available when creating a batch for deposits from the Cash Receipt Inquiry & Reconciliation screen, the user and/or role needs to be provided access.
To provide access to the Create Deposits section, follow the below steps:
- From the Main Menu, click the Access Privileges link.
- On the Access Privileges screen, locate the Edit(Add/Delete Bank Deposits access privilege.
- Select the Edit/Add/Delete Bank Deposits access privilege, right-click and select Edit.
- The Edit/Add/Delete Bank Deposits access privilege is an implicit access privilege. An implicit privilege means that all users have access until a user or roles is assigned. To assign a user or role to the privilege, on the Access Privilege Details tab, click the Manage button.
- On the Assign Access Privileges screen, select the user(s) and/or role(s) to be assigned to the privilege from the Available section and move them to the Selected section by using the green plus sign, single right arrow or double right arrow. Multiple users and/or roles can be selected by using Ctrl+Click or Shift+Click.
- Click OK.
- Click OK on the Edit Access Privilege screen.
- Have the user(s) sign out and back into the system. The Create Deposits section will now be available.
