An Events tab can be displayed on the Edit Account and Edit Contact windows. Which events are listed and how they are displayed, is based on the relationship of the Account/Contact to the event.
If the following condition applies, the event will show in the Events tab in bold:
- The account/contact is selected in the event's Account field.
If one of the following conditions apply, the event will show in the Events tab, but in standard text format:
- The account/contact is selected in the event's Contact field.
- The account/contact is selected in the event's Bill-to Account or Bill-to Contact fields.
- The account/contact is selected in the event's Requester Account or Requester Contact fields.
- The account/contact is selected in a confidential event's Account field.
- Note: the event will only show if the user or user's role is included in the Allow Access to Confidential Events access privilege.
- The account/contact is selected in the Account field on one or more of the event's orders.
- The account/contact is selected in the Bill-to Account field on one or more of the event's orders.
- The account/contact is selected in the Account field, on one or more of the event's functions.
The Events tab can also be expanded to a full view where filters become available. The Search Results Include filter can be used to display events for the selected account/contact (Selected Entry) or to display events for accounts/contacts related to the selected account/contact (Related Entries). If Related Entries is selected, events for accounts or contacts related to the selected account/contact will display if:
- A related account/contact is selected in the event's Account or Contact fields.
- A related account/contact is selected in the event's Bill-to Account or Bill-to Contact fields.
- A related account/contact is selected in the event's Requester Account or Requester Contact fields.
