The following information applies to resetting a password for a user attempting to log in to a public-facing v20 application such as registration, Exhibitor Portal, etc. This article does not apply to a licensed user attempting to log in to the internal software application. For information on how to reset a licensed user's password, please see Change or Forgot a User Password.
For security purposes, we recommend that users utilize the I forgot my password link to reset their passwords. However, if a password needs to be reset on behalf of a public-facing user, follow these steps:
- Sign into the software as an administrator.
- From the Main Menu, select the Users link. The Users page opens.
- Locate and select the public facing user. Make sure your Access Level filter on this screen has Public selected so you can see these records. Use the name and/or email search fields to quickly find the user.
- Right-click the user, go to Tools, then select one of the following:
- Change Password - A screen opens allowing you to determine the new password for the user.
- Reset Password - An email is sent to the email address of the user with a reset password link so the user can determine the new password.
The user will now log into public facing v20 applications using the new password.

It appears you would like to reset your password to log into Ungerboeck v20, rather than a public facing Ungerboeck application. Please submit a new support ticket and we will be happy to provide the steps that will allow you to reset your password.
