Enterprise Hospitality provides salespeople with the tools to record hotel and space requirements for potential events, accompanied by a Group Room Calendar to review convention/meeting space and hotel room availabilities.
The Guest Room Flow and Space Requirements sections of the Event Opportunity page collect forecasted hotel room and meeting space requirements for each new opportunity. The Group Room Calendar can then be used to review availability of hotel and meeting space requirements, based on the data entered in the Event Properties page and existing bookings in the system. This functionality allows you to quickly identify if an event opportunity is able to be housed for preferred or alternative dates.
Guest room flow and space requirement information entered on an event opportunity can also be used in conjunction with the other event opportunity data, to generate reports and documents such as proposals and contracts.
Accommodation availability can be either manually entered, or the API can be used to integrate with a Property Management System.

Event Opportunities
Guest Room Flow
The Guest Room Flow tab is where you can enter information on the number of rooms requested by day. This then displays the number of rooms agreed, blocked, forecasted or picked up.

Revenue
The Event Opportunity Revenue tab allows you to enter revenue against a category, in over to keep track of the forecast revenue for each potential event. The categories available are based on the Management Report Codes set up on your system. See this article about Management Report Codes for more information.
Revenue entries can include both Forecasted and Minimum figures, and each entry can also be tagged as contracted, should the Revenue already be at contracted stage.

Meeting Space Requirements
Space Requirements are used to record any proposed spaces for an Event Opportunity. Although adding Space Requirements does not book a space in the system, they can be added to documents or reports to show the proposed room blocks.

Group Property Configuration
The Group Property Configuration is required so the available rates and room allocation display on the group room calendar. This information will usually be populated using an integration with a property management system, however can be entered manually also.

The Group Room Calendar is used to review availability of hotel and meeting space requirements, based on the data entered in the Event Properties page and existing bookings in the system.
