- Unified Checkout now remembers returning buyers, enables saved payment methods, and allows pre-authorized transactions, simplifying repeat purchases for users and providing a more seamless experience for merchants.
- Deeper Payment Integration with Orders and Invoices
- Payments are now more closely tied to the order and invoicing processes in Enterprise, streamlining management for both users and administrators.
- Improved PCI Compliance
- Enhancements in this release significantly improve PCI compliance, providing an additional layer of security for payment processing and data handling.
Improved
-
Added General Ledger setting for a site to choose for payment, invoice, order journals to populate the dimension and book values from the Event / Function when the dimensions were not present on the payment or the order.
For example, if a user failed to select the dimensions/book on a service order but the dimension values were set on the function or event, then those values from the event or function will be pulled through to the journal entry rather than the previous behavior of blank.
In order to enable this feature, sites must update the setting GL 221 - Populate Journal Entry dimensions from Event/Function and set the value to Y.
- Added a new setting in Purchasing Configuration to Allow (or Disallow) Future Dated Receipts. When receiving purchase orders, if setting is disallowed, receipts entered with a future date will NOT be permitted, although the system will currently allow for one day for items known to be received into the next date for end of day processing. If value is not present or any other value, future dating receipts will be permitted.
- To provide for enhanced reporting and to assist with reconciliation for customer with multiple merchants, the Payment Gateway field has been added as an available filter and display column on cash receipt inquiry and reconciliation.
-
Updates to the version 2 payment portal have been made to allow for support of additional Billing Statement and Proforma Service Order invoice reports. Previously supported reports included the various order confirmation reports by order type.
Note that custom reports that make use of additional custom parameters may not be supported if those parameters are required and public facing reports versions may need to be created that default the values for these custom parameters to the desired values.
- The Event Start Date added to Historical Receivables Aging Details is available as both a display column and a filter.
- When the bank information status column is changed from “Needs Review” to “Approved”, an audit log entry will now be added to represent this change along with the information present at the time of approval. The Audit log will display who approved the information and the value of all populated bank information fields (blank values will not be written to the audit log entry).
Operations Portal and Tasks
Copy Notes and Documents from Task Set to Event Tasks: Notes and Documents attached to a Task Set Task are now correctly added to new event tasks when a task set has been added to an event and the tasks on the task set contain notes and/or documents on tasks.
Ungerboeck API and SDK
-
Added the EventOpportunity field to the Notes model to enable attaching Notes to Event Opportunities. The EventOpportunity field is a foreign key linking Notes to Event Opportunities.
This field is only editable during Note creation and becomes immutable on updates (PUT requests). -
Introduced a validation override mechanism in the API and SDK to manage account relationships where the master and subaccount already have an existing relationship of a different type.
New Feature: The override allows the creation of new relationship types, bypassing the default restriction that prevents adding the same accounts with a different relationship type.
Implementation: The feature mirrors the existing "AllowAccountToRelateItself" override, ensuring consistent behavior.
-
Added API support for managing Alternate Addresses on accounts and contacts.
New Endpoints: Implemented PUT, POST, and DELETE methods to complement the existing GET functionality.
Integration Use Case: Enables seamless integration between Enterprise CRM and the PlanEars Sales Leads system, ensuring Alternate Address data remains synchronized across platforms.
