The Momentus Outlook Add-in is required to copy emails and attachments from Outlook to the software. You can also use drag and drop to pull emails from Outlook to the software.
To copy an email from Outlook into the software:
- Select one or more emails in the Outlook inbox.
- Right-click and, at the bottom of the menu, select the appropriate folder to store the emails.
- Depending on the folder selected, you are prompted for an account, event, etc.
You can also copy an email from an open email screen by clicking on the Momentus tab in the Outlook Ribbon and selecting the appropriate folder.
In addition, you can drag and drop email files into the software directly from your Outlook instance.
- From Outlook, locate and select the email you wish to import.
- Using your computer mouse, drag the email into the Documents folder within the software.
Note: This requires the Momentus Web Add-in to be installed.

Has anyone been able to create an automatic activity to log and view copied emails in activities in the events folder - as a quick way to view the content of emails, rather than opening up individual emails in the document file.

Can you clarify a bit more please? When you import an email, there is a configuration for an activity type to create an activity tied to the email. Depending on the version of your software, there is a link to view the email from the activity.
