To protect the Preference Settings for your contacts, you can restrict who can add, edit and delete the Preference Type information for your customers. To learn how to add Preference Types, see Preference Types.
You can change preference settings access privileges from either the Access Privileges screen on the Main Menu
Allow Add/Edit of Preference Settings
This system access privilege controls who can add or change the preference settings for contacts. Any roles/users assigned to the privilege can add or edit preference settings for contacts while any roles/users not assigned to the privilege cannot add or edit preference settings for contacts. If no roles/users are assigned to the privilege, it is considered inactive, and no roles/users can add or edit preference settings for contacts.
Allow Deletion of Preference Settings
This system access privilege controls who can delete the preference settings for contacts. Any roles/users assigned to the privilege can delete preference settings for contacts while any roles/users not assigned to the privilege cannot delete preference settings for contacts. If no roles/users are assigned to the privilege, it is considered inactive, and no roles/users can delete preference settings for contacts.
You must also assign roles/users to the Add/Edit of Preference Settings access privilege to delete preference settings.
