Booth proposals allow your salespeople to send potential booths to exhibitors without needing to create a booth order and assign the exhibitor to a potential booth. A salesperson can send one or more booth proposals to an exhibitor, and the salesperson can determine if they want to create the order in advance or have the Exhibitor Portal create the order automatically once the exhibitor approves the proposal. The exhibitor reviews all proposals in the interactive floor plan in the Exhibitor Portal.
When you create a booth proposal, you place a hold on a booth for an exhibitor. Momentus recommends you create an On Hold or Proposed booth status and set the booth status for any proposed booth to that status. You can also configure automatic status updates on the Order Statuses page, where you can determine the booth status which is set based on the exhibitor status: Proposed Exhibitor, Placed Exhibitor and Released Exhibitor.
Once booth statuses are configured, create highlight schemes based on booth status so you can easily view your proposed booths. In the Exhibition Floor Plan the exhibitor's name appears on the booth with an asterisk next to it to indicate that the booth is proposed. You can set expiration dates on proposals and when the proposal expires, the exhibitor can no longer accept the proposal. You can create an unlimited number of booth proposals.
In the software, you can view booth proposals on the Booth Proposals Tab on the Exhibitors page as well as the Booth Proposals section on the Booths page.
To make the booth proposals viewable in the Exhibitor Portal, add the Booth Proposals component to the form on the task within the Exhibitor Portal setup.

Is it possible to automate to set up an automation within the exhibitor portal, so that, when a booth is proposed to a prospective exhibitor, they will receive an email notifying them?

Hi Fionn,
No, the process of emailing the exhibitor is a manual step after making the booth proposal.
Kind regards,
Eric
