Momentus Technologies recommends creating a dedicated web site for v20 to separate Momentus Enterprise traffic from other sites on the web server. This site uses the Enterprise folder as the Physical Path. You do not need an Enterprise application under this site. To set the web site as an application under an existing site, see Create a New v20 Site under an Existing Site.
Create the Application Pool
- Open Internet Information Services (IIS) Manager from Administrative Tools.
- Expand the web server name.
- Highlight Application Pools.
- Right-click on Application Pools.
- Select New - Add Application Pool.
- Name the application pool Enterprise and verify .NET CLR Version is v4.0.
- Click OK.
- Highlight the new application pool in the Application Pools screen within IIS.
- Right-click and select Advanced Settings.
- Verify that Enable 32-Bit Applications is set to False and the Process Model Identity is set to Network Service.
- Click OK.
Configure the New Web Site
- Open Internet Information Services (IIS) Manager from Administrative Tools.
- Expand the web server name.
- Select Sites.
- Right-click and select Add Website.
- Enter a site name in the Site name field. This can be whatever you choose.
- If the application pool that was just created is not displayed in the Application pool field, click the Select button, choose the application pool from the drop-down and click OK.
- Browse to the Enterprise installation in the Physical Path field.
- Click OK.
Configure Site Bindings
To configure site bindings, from within IIS, click on the website itself and select Bindings under Actions. See below for the default Site Bindings entry. Note that v20 uses Port 80 for http and Port 443 for https.
