Momentus Enterprise configuration parameters are set up in the Enterprise Web Configuration Utility. Follow the steps below to perform the initial configuration. Do not attempt to configure the Enterprise Web Configuration Utility by manually editing the web.config file.
- Navigate to C:\Inetpub or wherever your Enterprise environment is installed.
- Right-click on the Enterprise folder.
- Select Properties. The Properties screen opens.
- Select the Security tab.
- If Network Services is not listed in the top section of the screen, click the Edit button. The Permissions screen opens.
- Click the Add button.
- Select Network Service.
- Click OK.
- Grant all permissions except Full Control and Special Permissions.
- In the Enterprise folder, right-click on the UngerboeckWebConfiguration.exe file.
- Select Run as administrator. The Enterprise Web Configuration Utility screen opens.
- Select the Database tab.
- Enter the following information:
- Database Server – Name of the database server.
- Failover Server – Name of the failover server (optional).
- Database Name – Name of the database.
- Connection String – Defaults to the entered Database Server and Database Name.
- User Name – USI76AUTH
- Password and Confirm Password – Password for the USI76AUTH user. The default password is ungerboeck.
- Click the Test Database Connection button. If you receive a message that the test connection failed, verify the password for USI76AUTH is correct. If the password is correct, contact the Client Care Team for further assistance.
- Select the Application Settings tab.
- Enter the following information:
- X-Frame Option – Select SAMEORIGIN unless instructed otherwise.
- SMTP Server – IP address of the SMTP server.
- SMTP User and Password – If necessary, enter the user credentials used when sending email through the SMTP service.
- From Email Address – From email address used when sending automated emails.
- Enable SSL – If checked, emails are sent through a secure server.
- SMTP Port – Port used to send emails through SMTP. Leave blank to use the default port (25).
- Log File Path - By default, the embslog.log file is created in c:\Inetpub\Ungerboeck\. If the default location is used, then do not enter a value. To create this file in another location, enter the file path to use.
- Public Web Site – If hosting a public website, the URL of the site.
- WebService Timeout Settings – It is recommended to select Max Value for all options.
- Machine Key – Only for those using Load Balancing. For assistance with this step, contact the Client Care Team.
- Click OK.
Information About the Additional Tabs
The Site Authentication tab is used to configure the authentication used by your organization. See Authentication Types for more information.
The Diagnostics tab is used to diagnose problems with user logins. There is no configuration necessary during the installation process.
The Reporting tab configures the Report Server used with the installation.
The Web Server Analysis tab verifies the web server settings if errors are encountered after completing the Web Server Preparation. This tab allows you to view specific issues on the web server. For more information, contact the Client Care Team.
The Node Server tab references the URL of the Node Server. No changes are needed unless instructed by Momentus.
